CARLOS TEIXEIRA

Systems designer Carlos Teixeira engaged Murmur Ring to execute a cohesive, human-centered presentation of his 20+ year design career.

To extend the value and reach of his thought leadership, Murmur Ring created a cohesive platform under which all projects, research, writing, publications, and lectures can live.

Through website design, imagery capture, and visual asset creation, we collaborated with the Charles L. Owen Professor in Design endowed chair at the Institute of Design to organize and share his complex portfolio in an accessible way.

Still Imagery

Original content creation was a key component of our engagement. In situ style photography captures Carlos’ humanity and the complexity of his ideas and teachings.

“My playground is always in dialogue, in exchange, in collaboration with others.”

— Carlos Teixeira

Graphic Design

Our website need not only to present Carlo’s body of work in an accessible way, but serve as a holistic platform with a consistent look and feel that is accessible and human-centered.

We built a modular, multi-channel visual language centering global consultants, PhD students, graphic design and AI to define the anatomy of design methods found in everyday infrastructures.

Immersion

Carlos Teixeira transfers systems design expertise to a global network of problem solvers including government and business leaders, students, and design experts. He seized the opportunity to gather members of this creative network and strategically introduce their ideas and methodologies to new contacts across sectors via a Murmur Ring immersion in San Francisco.

Visit our Everyday Infrastructures immersion page to learn more about how Carlos used a Murmur Ring immersion to inspire other creative leaders to incorporate collaborative and innovative human-centered design thinking into their work.

“My work is not just reading and thinking about things - this is a global network of leaders, designers, stakeholders brought together to build innovative solutions that can be applied across industries and communities.”

- Carlos Teixeira
